Dr. Ainslie received her PhD in Chemical Engineering from Penn State and after completing a post doc at UCSF she began her own lab in the College of Pharmacy at Ohio State University in 2009. In 2014, she joined UNC in the Eshelman School of Pharmacy. She has over 60 peer review publications and $25M in funding focused on formulations to enhance the delivery of immunomodulating agents to create better vaccines, cancer therapies, and autoimmune and infectious disease treatments.
